From August 6, 2025, to October 2025, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) issued scientific opinions on AHB's (Anhui Huaheng Biotechnology) amino acid products for multiple animal feed additives (submitted via Kempex Holland B.V.), confirming that these products are safe and effective as feed additives for all animal species.

These products include:

L-Arginine produced by fermentation using E. coli CCTCC M 20231961, published on August 6, 2025.

L-Isoleucine produced by fermentation using E. coli CCTCC M 20231916, published on October 9, 2025.

L-Threonine produced by fermentation using E. coli CCTCC M 2024477, published on October 15, 2025.

L-Tryotophan produced by fermentation using E. coli CCTCC M 2024517, published on October 22, 2025.

Additionally, AHB's L-Valine product (produced by fermentation using E. coli CCTCC M 2020321) had previously passed the EFSA safety evaluation in 2022. Since then, AHB has made significant contributions to the EU feed and livestock industry with its exceptional quality and service. Over the past few years, AHB has been one of the world's most significant producer and supplier of L-Valine.

The approval of the above-mentioned L-Threonine, L-Tryptophan, L-Arginine, and L-Isoleucine will significantly enhance AHB's market influence in the field of animal nutrition. AHB is committed to advancing synthetic biotechnology and drive sustainable innovation in animal nutrition, by continuously contributing to the application of specialty amino acids to the feed industry.
